Our Story
Women in Law and Development (WiLDAF) is a Pan African non-governmental and non-profit network which brings together organizations and individuals who use the law to promote a culture for the exercise and respect of women's rights in Africa.
The organization was established in 1993 in response to the need to coordinate women's rights activities and strengthen women's and girls' rights across the continent.
WiLDAF Zambia Chapter has been at the forefront of advocating for gender equality, legal reforms, and the protection of women's rights in Zambia for over three decades.
Our Vision
A society where respect for human rights as well as promotion of equality and equity among women and men provides the fundamental basis for sustainable human development in Zambia.
Our Mission
To promote the development of a policy and legal environment which protects women's rights in Zambia through research, advocacy, strategic partnerships, and information sharing.
